Tanger Serif on Sale

 We are happy to announce that Tanger Serif is now on sale at our online store.

From today on we offer new licenses. Basic license is reduced to 1-2 CPUs to benefit small studios and freelancers. Bigger buyers benefit significantly from reduced starting price and added CPUs.

We have updated our End User License and excluded some limitations from it. We want to offer our font users as free hands as possible within this tricky IPR business. Basicly we allow to “embed” JLTF fonts into digital documents and photo formats (such as PDFs or FLASHs) and distribute them over the web for example.

“Type in Form” Type Design Exhibition at Klingspor-Museum, Germany

3rd to 26th of September, 2008

Jarno Lukkarila is among those 40 type designers presented at “Type In Form” exhibition of Klingspor-Museum, Offenbach Germany. The exhibition celebrates Klingspor-Museum's 50 years long history. Museum's collection overlooks the history of typesetting in the first half of the 20th century.

Xtra Sans Awarded at the TDC2 2007

Xtra Sans type family received the “Certificate of Excellence in Type Design” at TDC2 2007 typeface design competition organized by Type Directors Club at New York. TDC is an international organization of design professionals, typographic designers and typophiles founded in 1946.

141 entries took part to the competition from twenty different countries. Jury announced 19 type designs to receive the certificate of excellence. The panel of judges was formed by Luc[as] de Groot, Rod McDonald, Dennis Pasternak (chairman), Sumner Stone and Maxim Zhukov.
